Was he thinking of Miles Davis' album cover? Not to stir any more worm infested soil up...but Glitter and Doom was the title of an art show at the Met....2006-7, about German painters in the twenties... I later looked over some recent photos of him and came to the conclusion that it problaby was him. Had I know I would have shaked his hand and paid for his meal. Does anyone know if this guy visits such places? Does Mr. Waits read these comments - perhaps clarify this debate?
