Neko Case’s acclaimed new album Middle Cyclone has debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200, the highest opening in 2009 by an independent release on Billboard’s main album chart, just behind U2 and Taylor Swift. ‘Middle Cyclone’ also bows at #1 on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart. To quote Pitchfork, “suck on that, Watchmen soundtrack.”
Recently, Neko, along with guitarist Paul Rigby and backing vocalist Kelly Hogan stopped by the CBC Radio 3 studios in Toronto to record a number of songs. Check out the session here.
