Over at the Stereogum site, they have published New York Magazine’s list of “40 Songs That Define The Brooklyn Sound.” Featured prominently on there is Antibalas’ rollicking jazz funk song “Beaten Metal.” Of course a snark filled debate about the list has already erupted in the Stereogum comments section, so if you have the fortitude and some time to kill, you can jump in here.
