The always intriguing Boingboing posted the beautiful video for the Swell Season’s song “Low Rising” off their album “Strict Joy.” Stay tuned because the site will be posting an interview with the duo shortly as well.

Here’s what David at Boingboing had to say: “Low Rising” is the lovely new single from The Swell Season, aka Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová. Interestingly, the video was directed by Sam Beam, who is better known for his musical recordings under the name Iron & Wine. I wonder if Beam was referencing Bad Luck Shleprock by having the rain falling just on their heads. Probably not, but it’s still fun to think so. I had the opportunity to interview Glen and Mar before their recent Oakland, California concert. Stay tuned for more on that amazing experience, including a special performance for BB Video.
