Tom Waits plays the devil in the amazingly hallucinatory new Terry Gilliam film “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus” which also stars the late Heath Ledger and Johnny Depp. Waits was recently on NPR’s Morning Edition where he spoke with host Steve Inskeep about his role in the movie, working with Gilliam and their oddly shared birthmarks. I can’t imagine a better reason than Tom Waits for going to the movies, I’m really looking forward to it!

Been a fan since mid ’70s. Tom has always push simplicity into mind boggling visions of future simplicity. Can’t wait to see the future “devil in Waits”. Go man go!
