Artist Li Wei produces brilliantly unsettling photographs that depict him hurtling out of buildings, perched in startlingly dangerous situations and submerged into sidewalks, sand and lakes. The work conveys a sense of lost gravity and a many times dangerous reality.
“I am fascinated by the unstable and dangerous sides of art and I hope my works reflect these aspects,” says the 37-year-old artist from Beijing.
